Holistic Culinary ArtsRooted in Nature.
Elements Cookery School offers holistic culinary education rooted in Ayurveda. We seek to provide the union where ancestral food wisdom and classical technique are taught as one.
Where ancestral food wisdom meets refined technique.
Our Approach
The Education
of a Whole Cook
At Elements, cooking begins with attention.
Students learn to understand an ingredient through its flavor, structure, qualities, provenance, season and transformation through cooking—and to consider the person who will ultimately be fed.
The senses become instruments of learning. Technique becomes a language rather than a set of instructions. Ayurveda offers a framework for understanding nourishment. Season and place shape the kitchen. Beauty and hospitality complete the meal.
The result is a cook who possesses both skill and sensitivity: someone capable of cooking confidently, intuitively and joyfully.
Learn to Cook by Learning to See
Don’t rely on recipes
Recipes can tell us what to do. A culinary education should teach us how to understand what is in front of us.
Elements is for cooks who want more than instructions—for those who want to understand ingredients deeply, develop technical confidence and cultivate a more intuitive relationship with food.

Level I — Holistic Culinary Foundations
Level I is the beginning of an Elements education: a 12-week immersion in foundational culinary technique, Ayurvedic principles, sensory awareness, ingredient knowledge and seasonal cooking.
Each week pairs holistic theory with practical kitchen work. Students learn through observation, repetition, tasting and transformation—building the skills to move beyond recipe dependence and toward genuine culinary understanding.
The course culminates in The Elements Practicum, an individual practical assessment in which each student receives an unfamiliar selection of seasonal ingredients and independently conceives, prepares and serves a complete meal.
